My Story

My name is Ranie Meyer, and I am a dual-board certified Family and Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With a foundational education from the University of Texas at Tyler and specialized training in integrative psychiatry from the Dream Practice Academy, my approach combines over 14 years of healthcare experience across diverse settings—from emergency rooms to intensive care units to small practices.

My personal journey into mental health was not a straightforward path. The early loss of my father, a significant car accident, and navigating life changes have all deeply influenced my empathy and understanding. These experiences fostered my intuitive connection with patients facing their own struggles, guiding me into a career that blends scientific rigor with heartfelt care.

Beyond my clinical role, I am married, a mother in a loving blended family, a traveler, and an enthusiast of the outdoors. Whether it's walks, exercise, or cheering at my children’s sports events, I find joy and renewal in active moments. My dedication to personal fitness and nutrition mirrors the holistic care I advocate for in my practice.

Colleagues and patients alike describe me as intuitive, wise, and energetically compassionate. This reflects in my practice where I prioritize a holistic, patient-centered approach, embracing the unique challenges and strengths of each individual. My work is not just about managing symptoms but fostering a partnership that enhances your overall well-being.
